A place that does more than just look good.

Hirschberg 231 is a retreat and a space of possibility at once. Every corner of the house tells a story: of old craftsmanship, clear design and love for detail. You will find not just room to stay, but room to think, share, be still and move on.

Our rooms

You will find more pictures of the house in the gallery or over on our Instagram account @hirschberg231.

Kitchen

Chopping, sizzling and toasting together: the open kitchen is built for it. Fully equipped with modern appliances, a large kitchen island, a spacious fridge, washing machine, dryer and a pantry for all your supplies.

Parlour

Duck your head and arrive. The low ceiling is part of it, just like the tiled stove and the wood from the century before last. This is where you have breakfast, play games, chat and make plans. Right next door: the media room with Netflix & console.

Bedrooms

There are three bedrooms with 2, 4 and 4 beds (on two levels), so every constellation finds its ideal retreat. Simple and cosy, with a view into the valley from every room.

Sauna

After a day on the mountain there is nothing better: sweat, switch off, breathe. The electrically heated sauna (up to 95°C) seats four people. And the best part: the big barn door opens straight onto the forest, birdsong included.

Garden & hot tub

Breakfast under the tree, reading in the sun, listening to the fire crackle while you bathe in the evening. The garden is made for breathing out: with a wood-fired hot tub, a large table, deck chairs and a fire bowl.

Bathrooms

Two small bathrooms with showers, plus two separate toilets: enough space for everyone, even when the house is full. Simple, functional and exactly right after a long day outside.

Prime location.

At almost 900 metres, right at the edge of the forest and with an open view into the valley: Hirschberg 231 stands on its own.

Hiking trails outside

Set off straight from the house. Whether a short loop through the forest or a full-day mountain tour: the trailhead is at your door.

Yoga and workshop room

Room for everything that moves you.

60 square metres, flooded with light, overlooking the meadows of the Hirschberg. The yoga and workshop room upstairs is the heart of the house, and every group turns it into something of their own.

Children claim it as a playground. Teams use it for workshops, brainstorming or quiet focused work. And anyone arriving with a yoga or movement group finds the perfect space to practise. Yoga mats and meditation cushions are provided.

On request we set up a large workshop table. Or the room stays empty, for space, silence and everything that needs room.
